In November 2018, SHOWROOM distributed a free 3D model of the comedian Joyman Takagi.
Soon after the distribution of the 3D model, an AR app was released using ARKit, an AR library for iOS that had just been released at the time, to make Takagi appear dancing in front of the user through the camera.
At the time, the app was retweeted by Takagi himself on Twitter, and was viewed approximately 35,000 times. Many dancing Mr. Takagi in Hibiya Park modestly enlivened the Internet.
The 3D model is still being distributed (as of May 2024), so we hope you will create something and present it too.
